Marketing strategies without using social media

Although social media has not turned into one of the most important tools for marketing strategies and to offer products and services around the world, there are other ways that can also work just as well.

“Marketing campaigns using the social media are good, but sometimes the information can get lost in the saturated market that is in the Internet, so it is good for a business to use as many marketing options as possible, this way they can reach more customers and get their business grow up”, said Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim, about this topic.

Here are some interesting marketing strategies that do not need the social media to work:

  • Trade shows – A great idea to make your services and products be known is with trade shows, which can help you creating a social network, organize an event and you can get new customers and contacts.
  • Conferences – People pays more attention to what is being told personally than an article they can read on a webpage that they will probably have trouble finding again. If you are about to launch a new product, organize a conference, invite as much people as you can and prepare a good and brief presentation, you can also offer free samples, this will help your customers start getting involved with your new products since the beginning.
  • Ambassadors – An ambassador can help representing your brand by spreading the word of the services and products you offer and sell in an immediate community.
  • Recommendation – There is no better publicity than recommendation from friends to friends or relatives, so make sure you have your customers happy with your products and they will be your best publicity.

“Marketing strategies have to be evolving constantly, with all information going around, there are new techniques needed each day for all businesses to keep on being competitive and known everywhere”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal.
